Visiting Victoria and Brentwood Bay Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Some of the downsides of moving a business through different countries and across the continent is that you have clients and work in the previous towns/countries. Even though  I moved to Vancouver a year ago, I don’t feel like I’ve really been here due to all the travelling. I finally got home last summer after a few months away and realized my friend (and sister-in-law) Renee, who recently moved to Victoria from Ottawa, was going to Italy for 3 months. I hadn’t seen her since she got out to the west coast and we really wanted to spend time together. So I immediately headed out to Victoria for a few days with Renee. It was my first time on Vancouver Island and I really enjoyed downtown Victoria. It’s so quaint, cute and FULL of vegan food everywhere.
We decided to go stand up paddle boarding in Brentwood Bay through Pacific Paddle Sports. It was amazing! We saw seals and jellyfish and beautiful beaches and blue ocean. It’s a little bit of paradise! I even saw some geckos, which I thought I was imagining.
During my trip I wanted to do another photoshoot with Renee, my favourite model to shoot. We did a session with her puppy muffin, which you can check out here!Â
I To I was really hoping to see some orcas in Brentwood Bay. Or maybe dolphins… but it didn’t happen, so I had to compromise with photoshop!      Â
