Elegant Wedding with Berta Bridal Dress – Vancouver Wedding Photographer

When I had my pre-wedding meeting with Valeri, I was super excited when she told me about her dress. I have been in love with Isreali designer Berta Bridal since I first started shooting weddings. This luxury dress designer stands out with her attention to detail, perfect fit and mixing of fabrics and patterns. Valeri’s dress was no exception, and was a showstopper with it’s pearls, lace and rhinestones. This stunning dress was just the start of an awesome wedding day, full of elegant details and an amazing reception

The Party

While the whole day was incredible, V&D’s reception really stood out. The Sudbury Steelworkers hall had the WOW factor as soon as you stepped in. The hall was decorated uniquely by Unforgettable Weddings and included a custom cascading ribbon ceiling treatment and ghost chairs (Phoenix Infinity Chairs).

A friend of the bride and groom set up a slow motion video booth right off the dance floor and played back the video on large screens throughout the night. The 90’s dance music kept this dance-loving bride and groom on the dance floor the whole night and they even had a memorable dance off. With custom gold printed glasses and homemade cookies as favours and a midnight poutine bar, this is one wedding the guests aren’t soon to forget!

Lighting Decor

One of the reasons this dance party was so awesome was due to the DJ, Entertainment Solutions, and his fantastic lights. DJ’s are more than just someone that plays music… they can completely transform any hall into a wicked dance club. Not only does this DJ spotlight the first dance, but he also has lighting throughout the hall and his colourful dance floor lights follows the beat!
