Jeni and Nick – St Regis Punta Mita Beach Wedding

Oh my… This wedding has everything… a dreamy love story, palm trees and ocean breezes, soft pastel pinks and greys, barefoot elegance, Monique Luhiller, Tiffany’s and a striking bride and groom.

I flew from St Maarten to Punta Mita for this wedding and got to see some of Dallas in the process while staying overnight with the talented wedding planners and floral designers, Gro Designs. I was really shocked at how beautiful Punta Mita was… for those who, like me, were Punta Mita virgins, It’s a stunning community on the east coast of Mexico, just outside of Puerto Vallarta.  With multiple golf course, picturesque mountain ranges, high end resorts and exquisite private villas, the gated community is a perfect setting for a wedding. The night before the wedding, I had a chance to capture Jeni and Nick’s Rehearsal Dinner , where everyone got a chance to tell the soon-to-be newlyweds how much they meant to them.

Jeni and Nick just ooze sweetness and love… you can really see how much they care for each other. Originally meeting in college, these sweethearts dated for a bit but the relationship ended in the “crying on the couch for weeks” way. More than 10 years later, this couple reconnected and hit it off. Before long, Nick planned a romantic surprise proposal… with a photographer, a fake baby shower and the most beautiful ring. They were soon barefoot on a beach in Mexico, with their families and friends surrounding them while they take their marriage vows.

Jeni and Nick got married at the St. Regis, in Punta Mita, on the beach under a beautiful light pink rose and baby’s breath covered arbor from Gro Designs. Jeni’s lovely Monique Luhiller dress fit her like a glove and her gold Prada sandals and self done hair and makeup were the perfect traditional/casual combination that was the epitome of the day. It is exactly what you image when you think of the perfect beach wedding!
