Susan and Ryan – Sunflowers and a Vintage Wedding Dress
At our pre-wedding meeting, Susan was glowing when she told me she was wearing her grandmothers wedding dress from 1952. This beautiful, modern and stylish wedding dress is 63 years old! I couldn’t wait to see it on her, the pictures on her phone didn’t do it justice! Both her grandmother and mother wore this stunning lace dress, and Susan had it slightly altered for her own wedding. She had the lace sleeves removed and a modern neckline put in, and she even wore her grandmothers original wedding shoes!
Susan and Ryan are HUGE movie fans and even have a mini theatre built into their basement. Ryan and his groomsmen got ready at their house and we took advantage of this unique setting, and tied in this couples love of cinema on their big day. These two movie lovers also had their engagement at Adanac ski hill, near the film studio with beautiful movie murals as backdrops.
Once again I had the joy of working with DJ Chris Gray from Entertainment Solutions. He also offers Lighting Decor and transformed the Caruso Club hall into a magnificent dance floor, complete with his signature Dancing on a Cloud. Dancing on a Cloud is a first dance option where the bride and groom appear to be dancing on a cloud.
