Downtown Vancouver Wedding at the Pan Pacific
Trudy and George’s love story reads like a hit romantic blockbuster. Trudy is a professional pianist and play at various establishments throughout North Bay, Ontario. George was a frequent visitor to a restaurant Trudy played at. The owner of the restaurant decided to play matchmaker and it took a few try’s before Trudy and George caught on, but once they realized what was happening there were both quite happy about it! This couple enjoys everything together from travelling to exotic locations and supporting local arts and culture in Northern Ontario.
Trudy and George had their wedding planned for North Bay, Ontario, but moved the wedding to Vancouver to insure George’s mom was able to attend. Trudy and George had an intimate wedding with close friends and family in the stunning Pan Pacific Vancouver hotel. This April 25 wedding in Vancouver was perfect – Sunny and warm without being too hot. I loved how the northern mountains weren’t in clouds and we were able to shoot outdoors with a city or mountain view on this perfect spring day. This elegant Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel wedding was stunning with all the decorations and details that Trudy planned… and the ones that weren’t planned – There was a grand piano conveniently located in their reception hall!

I love the moments throughout the day between Trudy and her maid of honour – her daughter.  The secret smiles and inside jokes were a small reminder of the special relationship between mother and daughter and it makes me happy I was able to capture moments like this!
The wedding was held at the Pan Pacific Vancouver, which is near the convention centre, which conveniently had fireworks the night of the wedding!
